About Us
Most people who send us a track have been living with it for months. They know exactly how it should feel, and they’re not quite there. That last ten or twenty percent is the part we’re interested in.
Based in Manchester UK, with seven years professional experience. Started by Phil Denton after graduating with a Distinction in Audio Engineering and Production from Futureworks, and also gaining the Best Student On Diploma For Audio award for his professional approach and attention to detail.
We currently provide mastering services for Voyager Records (UK), Antidote Records (NL) and are the official Mixing and Mastering Engineer for AZYR (Teletech, Speed Limit Records) and SMR (Teletech, Taapion) amongst many others. Our work has been supported by the likes of Jeff Mills, Oscar Mulero, Dyen and Shlømo.

Depending on the service you require, here is some guidance on the best way to submit your files. Don’t worry if you can’t match this exactly, just do the best you can and we’ll take care of the rest…

Mastering is performed on a ‘stereo premaster’ file. Typically, this is your mix with nothing on your master bus, the master fader at 0db and peaking at around -6db.
This is our most popular service. Best suited to producers and musicians who are happy with the final mix, and need that extra punch and polish to help your music translate across different playback systems. Ideally your transfer folder should look like this;
Send your premaster file using our dedicated wetransfer link. You can send up to 200gb in one transfer.
Mixing is the process of taking raw stems and bringing them all together to get the absolute best sonic result for your music. We offer stem mixing (up to 40 stems) and Ableton Live Project Level Mixing. This service is best suited to newer artists and producers or those that don’t have access to an acoustically treated room and advanced mixing tools.
Here’s how your transfer folder should look before sending;
Stem Mastering sits in between full stem mixing and stereo mastering. It consists of processing up to 6 stems, typically Kick, Bass, Drums, Synths, Vocals and FX.
This is best if you have a good balance for your mix but still not 100% happy with how everything is sitting for whatever reason. If you feel this is the best solution for you then here is how your transfer folder should look;

If you want the best results for you music, and use Ableton Live, this is the best solution for you. It comes with huge benefits, and some potential small drawbacks. Project level mixing gives us the absolute most control over your sessions. Often times, producers overcook things in the mix. Having access to the project actually means we can take away as well as add processes – whatever is most beneficial each specific part of your productions.
The only drawback is if you are using plug-ins that we don’t have access to. We have most popular Plug-ins – FabFilter, Soundtoys, Serum 2, Diva, ShaperBox2, Kickstart and Endless Smile. If you are unsure if a device wont transfer perfectly then you can duplicate the track, mute the original, then use the ‘Bounce In Place’ feature so there is an audio version of the track.
The most important thing here is that you use the “Collect All And Save” function from the File menu after which, your folder should look like this;

Attended Mixing Sessions
Virtual attended mixing sessions are £170: a two-hour session on your track, with unlimited revisions for 30 days. Add the final master for £20 (normally £40).
I’ve been mastering records professionally for eight years, and I enjoy it more and more every year.
A record carries the hours someone put into it. That’s the part an algorithm can’t hear – it doesn’t know what your track is reaching for, and it can’t tell you when you’re nearly there. Music made by people who’ve spent their lives developing skills, tastes and experiences is what makes other people connect with music.
In my opinion the human touch matters more now than ever with the advent of AI music creation and mastering. I believe that humans will always want human made art, and I’m here to help you make that happen!
